Grown - Up Soda?

Brandweek is a very entertaining magazine. It highlights how brands are redesigning their labels and packaging, becoming more 'green' friendly and introduces you to new up and coming brands.

In "Brands on the Verge" they discuss GuS or Grown Up Soda. The founder is from Westchester County, NY. The whole concept is to offer a drink with fizz but less sugar. No more super-sweet, high-fructose corn syrup.

GuS is said to be 100% natural, kosher and caffeine-free. It comes in 8 flavors: Dry Valencia Orange, Dry Pomegranate, and Star Ruby Grapefruit are three listed in the article. They are served in 12 oz bottles and lightly sweetened with only natural cane sugar. With only 90 + calories per bottle I think this is something worth trying.

Feel free to visit their website at drinkgus.com. It's a pretty impressive site too. You can see where they sell their soda as well as order online but be warned, it's not cheap!

The website also gives drink recipes and they state that their 'secret weapon' is that their Dry Cranberry Lime makes an amazing Cosmopolitan!

I must try this new Grown Up beverage, how about you!?
